The Ralph Steadman Art and Design Scholarship

Do you know an exceptional Year 11 art student with oodles of talent?

Applications are now open for the second Ralph Steadman Art and Design scholarship

This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a talented student of art, currently in Year 11

The Prize…

is a two-year sixth form scholarship to attend Rochester Independent College, with 100% of tuition fees, for 3 or more A Levels, and materials included. The only stipulation is that at least one of these A Levels must be in a visual arts subject, in which Rochester Independent College is known to excel, with a high number of students going on to study Art & Design related subjects at University or Art College.

Former WOW magazine readers will remember the inaugural ‘The Best of… Art Competition’ which launched the Ralph Steadman Art and Design Scholarship. World-renowned international artist, illustrator and cartoonist Ralph Steadman agreed to lend his name to the scholarship and act as Head Judge, ably aided by photographer Rikard Osterlund.
